From my female perspective, I like to get a relationship started on an equal footing, so I always offer to share expenses right from the first date. August 20th, 2015 at 7.50 pm I love it. From then on, I would want to alternate who pays each time. I feel that can be understood within the first few dates, though. Some folks can present a successful image to the world only to be flat broke behind the scenes.
